About the management

Technical knowledge. Target oriented. Collaborative working attitude.

Dipl.-Ing, Christoph Beisteiner, BSc
CEO

Christoph Beisteiner is a technology enthusiast with a degree in electrical engineering and electronics from the Higher Technical College in Leonding, Austria and a diploma in mechatronics from the Johannes Kepler University in Linz, Austria.

From 2013 to 2017, Beisteiner worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Electrical Measurement Technology at the Johannes Kepler University. During this period, as part of several research projects, he developed energy harvesting systems on the one hand and solutions for printing electronics and sensors using functional inks in conventional inkjet printers on the other. In addition, from 2015 to 2017 Beisteiner was a board member of the “IEEE Student Branch JKU Linz” association, which aroused his interest in entrepreneurial activity.

Greiner Idea Hackathon for Printed Electronics

A 48-hour Greiner Ideation Hackathon took place in Vienna's WeXelerate in 2018. A total of 15 teams, consisting of international participants, had the task of developing concepts on the subject of Business Models for Plastics with Printed Electronics for Greiner products. The best teams were awarded prize money at the end. Beisteiner and his colleague Hofer were able to achieve second place.

In the following years, he worked as a project manager exclusively for "Beisteiner Josef" - Grafische Maschinen & Systemtechnik. Since October 2, 2020, he has been leading the company formerly known as Beisteiner Josef under the name "Beisteiner Printronics e.U."

In addition to his great passion for technology, he is an avid skier (alpine and ski touring), hiker, mountain biker, and climber. He prefers to spend his leisure time in the mountains or by lakes.
